Security Weapons Annual Requalification Shoot
To maintain your Security Guards Firearms licence re-qualification of Unit of Competency CPPSEC3008A Control security risk situation using firearms in the CPP30411 CIII in Security Operations Program Package is required, with a qualification shoot and written assessment of underpinning knowledge.
This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to determine when to use a firearm to respond to a life-threatening situation, and requires the ability to analyse risk factors and intentions of persons and to maintain and store firearms and ammunition in accordance with legislative requirements.
Duration: 4 hours approximately
Includes: All range fees, targets, ammunition and PPE

- A Statement of Attainment for CPPSEC3008A Control security risk situation using firearms will be awarded upon successful completion of this course
- This will allow for the application to the Weapons Licencing Branch of the Queensland Police for the continuation of a Security Firearms Licence
- This is a requirement enforced by Weapons Licencing Branch of the Queensland Police
